Particulars of four large vessels for Danube service; mixed cargoes are carried, including heavy machinery on one hand and grain or refrigerated produce on other, and it was necessary to accommodate cargo of 400 tons deadweight on draft of 5.9 ft; length oa 245.12 ft; max beam 28.14 ft; propelled by two MWM 4-stroke, single acting, 6-cyl reversible engines, developing 500 bhp at 375 rpm.
