Panel on Electrically Powered Vehicles has been appointed in Jan 1967 to study prospects and need for action on automotive emissions, and control of automotive air pollution; 16 members of Panel were drawn from industrial and academic communities, and joint support agreement was entered into with Departments of Defense, Health, Education and Welfare; Housing and Urban Development; Interior; Post Office; and Transportation, as well as Atomic Energy Commission and Federal Power Commission; results of study; important findings and recommendations are summarized.
