Research to determine criteria or values which establish travel patterns; information is useful in forecasting effects of various land uses on existing street networks, in providing better basis for design of new facilities, and better criteria for control of land uses; nature of relationships between travel patterns and various characteristics of traffic generator, transportation network and contributory area are evaluated for three types of land use; annotated bibliography deals with traffic generation, travel impact on adjacent transportation facilities, and trip generation techniques, and covers wide variety of types of land uses.
