Theory of divergence of constant thickness rectangular plate wings is presented, based on assumptions of linear elastic theory and linearized aerodynamic theory; critical conditions occurred at M equal 1; it is established that sweeping leading edge of plate airfoil of constant thickness increases its stability; divergence conditions.
