Carburetor icing research made by California Research Corp in cooperation with Standard Oil Co of California and British Columbia; data analysis, and preliminary laboratory work; comparison of base fuel, two different surfactants, and freezing point suppressant shows that stalling is greatly dependent on relative humidity and ambient temperature; gasoline antiicing additives effectively reduce stalling to low level.
