Initial examination of projected effects of increased fluid temperature on operational life of pumping equipment discloses life gap existing between present high temperature development and anticipated equipment life for SST; approach of centralized distribution is represented, i.e., hydraulic power generated by engine driven pumps and distributed to all required services through continuous tubing networks; composite system or power substation concept is based on tieing in intermittently scheduled loads and short duration peak power demands to other sources of power for driving pumps; recommendations made.
