New polyether elastomers called Hydrin are being marketed by B.F. Goodrich Chemical Co; environmental and fluid resistance of elastomers make them very attractive in great many automotive applications in which present specialty rubbers are not completely satisfactory; copolymer Hydrin 200 (ECO) is suitable for those applications requiring low temperature flexibility in addition to fluid and ozone resistance; homopolymer Hydrin 100 (CO) will fit those applications which demand oil resistance plus premium of impermeability or adhesive characteristics.
