Particulars of capacity and types of various auxiliary pumps and other equipment (also power needed for drive) as installed in standard motor ships of American C2 and C3 class, given in tables; two vessels in question are equipped with engines of 6000 bhp and 8500 bhp respectively, and information is applicable to classes of machinery which will be largely utilized in motor liners built after war.
