Investigation at Lewis Research Center, NASA, Cleveland, Ohio, to study effects of fuel-oxidant ratio, charge density and ambient atmosphere of amine acid ignitions in rocket engines; it is shown that spontaneous ignitibility depends on synergetic behavior of several reactions, each of which exerts its greatest independent influence at different time during ignition period.
