Norfolk Ferry launched from Clydebank yard of John Brown and Co has oa length 397 ft 6 in.; breadth 61 ft 6 in.; depth 34 ft 9 in.; train deck, or hangar deck, supported at center by H-section stanchions; propelled by twin screws, driven by Brown-Sulzer Diesel engines of trunk piston type; designed for transport of freight cars across North Sea.
