3300-lin ft of metal bin type retaining wall constructed in widening of shelf road to four lanes; using mobile crane, up to 230 ft of wall was placed daily; excavation proceeded just ahead of wall crew so that earth could be utilized to fill erected bins; perforated metal (Hel-Cor) pipe drains were placed behind wall to intercept excess ground water.
