Possible variations of torsion bar springs which were considered in Mather Spring Co's research program; design of laminated torsion spring divided into two categories: that of narrow plates where torque due to secondary stresses can be ignored, and that of wide leaves where secondary stresses contribute substantially to torque developed by spring.
