Illustrated description of arrangement of engine cowlings on certain types of German aircraft; in each case cowling is attached directly to engine and not to fuselage so that engine can be removed complete with its cowling; arrangement enables engine to vibrate on its rubber mountings relative to fuselage without any risk of distortion of cowling. From reports prepared by technical staff of Ministry of Aircraft Production.
