Suggestions for improving efficiency of post war commercial vehicles and at same time reducing first and running costs; author postulates mass production and reduction in number of models as means to this end, and asserts that ideal arrangement would be for each big manufacturer to concentrate on single model, leaving smaller firms to produce individual assemblies and parts.
