Much money has been spent on dirt roads in Mexico; advantages of concrete roads are obvious, but expense is often prohibitive; it is suggested that roads be built with four narrow strips of concrete, analogous to rails of railway, filling intervening space with macadam; detailed dimensions are suggested and cost estimated as not over $6,000 Mex. per km.
