Transfer trajectory of space vehicle from base planet to target planet is composed of three phases corresponding to their location in subsequent gravitational fields; exit phase in field of base planet, mid-phase in field of sun and entry phase in field of target planet; analysis of navigation of both end phases shows that desired state of motion at end of phase is adjusted by sequence of velocity corrections of decreasing geometrical progression; analytical navigation procedure and correction sequences are given; general results are reviewed and verified by numerical example of Earth-Mars round trip on Hohmann transfer trajectory.
