Paper reviews major design, development and management of program for engineering development of integrated spacecraft environmental control and life support systems and for solution of man-machine integration problems; different phases of program are applicable to family of manned space laboratories and manned interplanetary space vehicles; simulation techniques included use of space-laboratory types of life support subsystems hardware of flight type; preliminary results of first phase of program and future phases are considered.
