Facility for testing air-to-surface and air-to-air weapons guidance systems at Martin Co, Orlando, Fla, consists of pilot-display laboratory, RF anechoic chamber for radiation tests, optical guidance laboratory and computer complex; optical test area provides five-degree-of-freedom precision mount and carriage for systems under test and terrain model which moves along sixth axis; principal devices in electro-optical guidance test laboratory are railmounted terrain model and flight table/carriage/beam assembly carrying system under test; two Pace (231-R) analog computers, three X-Y plotters, pair of eight-channel Brush recorders and video tape recorder make up heart of computer facility.
