Comparative study of engine performance in truck field using as example two 5-ton trucks, one with 60-hp. and other with 100-hp. engine; considerations involved are climbing efficiency, speed and safety, all with respect to time; it is shown that with increase in engine power as far as it is feasible in heavy trucks, corresponding increase in efficiency, economy, and safety will result.
