Analysis made to determine feasibility of operating nozzles with hydrogen as propellant; wall temperature distributions and heat fluxes along nozzle were calculated over range of chamber pressure and wall emissivity; development may prove to be difficult because of high nozzle wall temperature levels, but appears to be desirable because of potential performance gains in terms of specific impulse over regeneratively cooled nozzles.
