Problems were investigated on fixed base simulator for blunt face, high drag capsule and low drag lifting cone, each having trim lift drag ratio of 0.5; re-entries were made within constraints of acceleration and skipping, in which pilot was given simulated navigation tasks of altitude and heading angle commands; results for various damper failure conditions.
