Review of early results in program of study of orbital rendezvous operation designed to determine factors covering stages of operation and relationships between them; launch and mid-course procedures for rendezvous vehicle are compared in terms of booster requirements and delays between decision to launch and rendexvous with target; effect of errors in target tracking and in rendezvous vehicle midcourse flight on terminal homing phase.
