Method described of temporarily repairing wooden propellers to be used for emergency purposes, by cropping off each blade to minimum extent necessary to restore unbroken line and smooth contour; there is limit to extent by which diameter of propeller can be reduced without causing loss of efficiency, and Rotol Ltd, have carried out experiments to determine what this limit is.
