Gyro stabilizers of precision automatic pilot could control aircraft with greater degree of accuracy than is possible by human pilot; this would improve quality of power plant and propeller calibration tests, as well as increase accuracy of aerodynamic data; personnel interested in obtaining accurate performance data should investigate use of automatic pilot; actual flight test data are presented.
