Tests showed at 5.6 compression the same maximum power production at ground level and general average of 4 per cent more power at altitude for alcogas, maximum difference being about 6 per cent at 6400 ft. and 1800 r.p.m. At 7.2 compression alcogas showed average and fairly uniform increase of 4 per cent in power at altitude.
