Process of fabricating simple, low cost blanking tool, made of plywood, steel rule, rubber and glue and mild steel, developed by Template Industries, Inc, Brooklyn, NY, adopted by A.O.Smith Corp, manufacturers of automobile and truck frames and parts, to provide temporary tooling for initial production requirements, in advance of permanent tools; as much as 250,000 pieces were produced from single die; tool costs.
