After reorganizing its street-railway system and routes, Milan has experimented with cars of higher speed and greater capacity, of American "Peter Witt" type, of minimum weight and road encumbrance; each truck has two 25-hp., 600-volt, G.E.C. motors; cars run very smoothly, have met with popular favor, and are to be adopted in numbers.
