Twenty light weight combined passenger and baggage coaches constructed of aluminum alloys by American Car and Foundry Co, for New York Central System; coach is 85 ft in length, 16 ft over side posts, and 13 ft 6 in. roof height above rail; of 20 coaches, 16 are equipped with G. E. C. and four with Safety Car Heating and Lighting Co 20-kw 80-v generators, driven by Spicer drive with automatic clutch; batteries are 600 amp hr capacity; lighting fixtures described.
