Plans presented for round-the-world passenger and cargo liner as proposed by technical staffs of American President Lines, San Francisco, and of George C. Sharp, naval architect, New York, which would ultimately take place of modified C-3 type liners now in operation; length oa about 536 ft; breadth molded 73 ft; depth molded to upper deck at side 49 ft; fitted with cross compound steam turbine designed to deliver 12,500 shp at 92 rpm.
