Model tests show that annular jet ejectors induce approximately same rates of secondary flow as do comparable central jet types when both have nondivergent mixing tubes; however, when divergent mixing tubes are used, flow rates for annular type increase much more than do those for conventional one; this dissimilarity is ascribed to suppression of flow separation by scouring action of annular jet.
