Chassis designed by Diedt-Schroeder, Los Angeles, to make use of straight frame side members; fabricated from aluminum alloy sheet stock, using box section of riveted construction; points of greatest load are concentrated at cross members rather than along frame channels; cowl frame and all other body supporting members, and radius rods are made from 24ST aluminum; rear axle fitted with magnesium center section.
