First of two sister ships to be built at Muggiano (La Spezia) yard of Ansaldo to order of Armatrice Santa Rosalia SpA, has been handed over for operation by Cameli Group; length oa 752 ft 11 in., extreme breadth 98 ft 5 in., depth molded 52 ft 4 in.; there are six central holds which, with exception of two for dry cargo only, are designed for carriage of oil or dry cargo; oil cargo is carried additionally in 24 wing tanks and two deep tanks; 9-cyl Fiat engine develops 18, 900 bhp at 122 rpm.
