Improvements in training facilities during period between wars; Longmoor was increased from peace time strength of about 500 all ranks to max strength of 7000 in 1942; organization consisted of Headquarters and four Wings dealing with field works training, technical training, collective training, and depot, length of courses varies with trades and technical implications; bridging and signaling schools.
