Report on series of tests conducted by Western Electric Co in cooperation with Northern Pacific on new type of v-h-f railroad radio equipment; equipment was designed by Bell Telephone Laboratories to operate in new 152 to 162 megacycle band, and consists of radio transmitter and receiver, handset type microphone with push-to-talk switch, loud speaker and control unit, power supply comprising generator and inverter, and quarter-wave vertical antenna with ground plane.
