In early days of automobile, little was done to incorporate style into design; first efforts of styling disregarded limitations of available techniques as shown by various examples; integration of styling into over-all operation requiring coordination with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and service; good example of this is dual headlamp on Cadillac Brougham in 1956 and cornering light Cadillac introduced as standard equipment on 1962 vehicles.
