Efforts made to adapt new research methods to specific conditions of astronaut activity in controlling spacecraft; tests of performing various duties are illustrated by examples; problem of providing flight physician with suitable instruments connected to equipment and physiological devices on board of spacecraft; medical supervision and investigations on long-distance flight to predict condition and efficiency of astronauts, to evaluate life-support systems and to study effects of space flight on man.
