Motor-truck specifications for 1929 reveal marked tendency on part of truck manufacturers to extend their lines to include custom-built trucks by offering options on engines, transmissions, axles and wheelbases to meet varying needs of truck users; eight times as many sixes as fours, six new eights, full-floating axles, four-wheel brakes, more transmission speeds, smart appearance and streamlining of hood, cowl, and body feature models announced in 1929.
