Remarkable electrical equipment characterizes W. E. Boeing's new Diesel yacht designed to cruise waters of Alaska and British Columbia, with sufficient power and sea ability for ocean work; 125 ft. length o.a.; 24 ft. beam; two 8-cylinder Winton Diesel engines of 4-cycle type are rated 250 b.hp. each at 350 r.p.m.; engines operate very smoothly at 500 r.p.m., at which speed they develop about 357 hp. each and drive vessel at 13 1/2 knots.
