Salvage devices prepared before period of serious disasters had been far from perfect to meet aim of life saving; to improve defects, naval constructors and experts in salvage work have investigated deep-sea diving, locating sunken boat, communication with boat, preservation of lives of crew, escape of crew, and hauling up boat; problems now nearly solved, results of investigations presented before World Engineering Congress.
