Three experimental cars secured by Louisville Railway and furnished by St. Louis Car Co., G. C. Kuhlman plant of J. G. Brill Co., and Cincinnati Car Corp. are preliminary step in extensive equipment-improvement program; manufacturers were given free hand in effort to stimulate off-peak riding, to effect operating economies and to cultivate good will.
