For most part, buses in use at present time are propelled by four or six-cylinder gasoline engines through selective-type transmission gears and usual differential gears; new type of bus known as " parlor observation coach" has recently been placed in operation; bus known as "twin coach" has been brought out which very closely resembles street car; power plant consists of twin 55-hp. 6-cylinder engines, placed in center of vehicle, one on each side under longitudinal seats.
