Remodeling structural-steel railroad over crossing by taking it down, refabricating two-thirds of old steel and then reerecting it with this steel and 70 tons of new steel was required in modernizing Branner St. viaduct in Topeka, Kan.; viaduct consists of three 100-ft. trusses and 52-ft. girder span.
