Liquid propellant rocket motor with max thrust of 2000 lb; fuel was mixture of 65% methyl alcohol and 35% water, while oxidizer was liquid oxygen; weight 215 lb; Snarler was intended for boosting climb on aircraft already powered by gas turbine and was flight tested during 1950 in "Hawker" P.1072 aircraft.
