Review of various technology options for lunar-surface powerplants; Saturn-V-class vehicle is assumed as mode of transportation to Moon; amount of power that can be made available on Moon per launch appears to be that which can be generated by powerplant weighing up to 30,000 lb and packaged in Saturn-V vehicle; based on present state-of-power technology, it appears that development and delivery to Moon of any of these systems will be difficult and costly.
