Paper shows how to take advantage of property called "frequency symmetry" in synthesis of linear and nonlinear control laws for such systems; application of method to problem of controlling spinning aerospace vehicles is shown; two examples, linear and contactor control of attitude of spinning symmetric satellite, and attitude control of spinning satellite with control-moment gyro, are presented; analog simulation results are given for control designs based on frequency symmetry for contactor control system and for space vehicle that is torqued by control-moment gyro.
