In order to automatically calculate the running mileage of the locomotive and prompt the corresponding servicing level according to the running mileage, this paper proposes a locomotive grading servicing scheme based on the LMD system. Firstly,the software function module integrated in LMD system obtains the running mileage of the locomotive through the LMD system, and then judges the level of servicing operation required by the locomotive through the preset logic. When a locomotive enters the depot, the servicing operator only needs to carry out the servicing operation at the corresponding level according to the indicated servicing level. Secondly, the plan also judges the number of servicing times to avoid the locomotive running short routing without high-level servicing for a long time. In addition, according to the real-time running mileage and advanced repair schedule of the locomotive, this scheme can calculate the actual daily average running mileage of the locomotive and the reference daily average running mileage. In this way, the dispatcher can arrange the locomotive for proper routing according to the reference daily average running mileage, and the locomotive can reach the running mileage of the repair schedule at the planned time.
