By simulation we got assessment of the potential effectiveness highlight the image of a remote object of unknown shape (space object) on black-and-white picture with using robust adaptive spatial-selective filter. It is assumed that the data processing is carried out in conditions of a priori uncertainty regarding the form of the space object and the probabilistic description of the background of the situation. Examples of image processing in natural conditions in operation at the object 3006, and evaluation of the use of algorithms.
