In the present project it will be performed the des ign and implementation of a semi-autonomous driving system for a radio-controlled vehicle. To achieve it, it will be necessary to develop a st rong algorithm capable of detecting road lanes with great accuracy and robustness. That is, it wil l be developed a vehicle with at least a Level 2 of autonomy with similar characteristics to what ot her companies are offering nowadays. Along this project it will be explained how the sel f-driving car industry started and what are the different paths that are being followed by each com pany and in which state they are. Prior to this, a small introduction to artificial i ntelligence and computer vision will be done. It wi ll be discussed the developments produced in each fiel d over the years and the state-of-the-art technologies that are being used. Finally, it will also be introduced technologies us ed for the present project and why were the chosen, to go then in depth in how the algorithms w ere developed and how were the experimental testing processes.
