Distributing the railway refrigeration container handling stations is a complicated system engineering that is influenced by multitudinous factors, such as technique and equipment, conditions, intermodal traffic ability, foreground and social economy conditions of the district. To overcome the limits of subjective weighting on distribution analysis of railway refrigeration container handling stations, in this paper a maiden adoption of the entropy theories is introduced to analyze distribution of railway refrigeration container handling stations, and a multiple-objective model on analyzing the distribution of railway refrigeration container handling stations based is set up on fuzzy mathematics and information entropy. Based on analyzing the layout of railway refrigeration container handling stations the affecting factors are figured out and analyzed by the theory of information entropy, the entropy of each factor is calculated, and the diversity and the weight of each factor is calculated to obtain the comprehensive analysis coefficients. Finally a case study is carried out to verify the validity, objectivity and applicability of this model through calculated and analyzed practical data. The characteristics and applied scope of this model are also given which shows that the model mentioned above has the value to be referenced for the resource distribution and dispatching the putrescible and live freight capacity.
