This paper aims to improve the traffic distribution efficiency and optimize the traffic organization order of the square in front of Jiaozuo Station. First, the traffic sharing rate and traffic organization of the station square are investigated. The data of peak-hour volume, signal timing, and intersection delay at the intersection of the station square are collected. Then, a taxi traffic organization mode based on “shooting strategy” is proposed, which realizes the coordinated operation of the parking berths and the passenger area. The strategy mentioned above optimizes the traffic organization of the taxi streamlines at the same time. Finally, VISSIM is used to establish a simulation environment of traffic organization and adjacent roads. The proposed strategy is evaluated by simulation. The results show that the safety, efficiency, and coordination of the traffic organization in the station square have all increased to a certain extent. This study has certain reference value for improving the traffic organization efficiency of the station square.
